Data Forensics for Corporate Investigators

Digital evidence plays a significant role in the majority of crimes committed. The electronic evidence is critical in the following situations: Developing a reviewing corporate policies pertaining to legitimate compute equipment use; determining if your intellectual property has been given to, or taken by, your competitors; ensuring that employees are not making you liable by violating laws or policies using corporate resources; protecting yourself from unfounded charges of discrimination or harassment by present or past employees; and protecting your corporate data from being accessed and exploited by internal or external attackers.
